Your boudoir shoot is coming up and you are getting really nervous.  There is no need for nerves, as I will explain how our team at red sash photography helps to settle them down long before your actual boudoir photography session. First, it is important to mention just how much fun you are going to have. Second, the level of sexy you will feel is way up there, and your confidence will soar. You will look back on your boudoir experience and say to yourself “what was I so nervous about anyway?”

Let’s analyze those nerves for a second.  When you are thinking about your sexy upcoming shoot, what is it that worries you? Posing? Don’t be! I will walk you through every pose and you will have it mastered in minutes.  There is really no secret to it.  My experience posing hundreds of women that have all different body types will have you looking your best on camera and I guarantee we will have fun working together and even laugh a little bit together.  Concerned about what to wear? Don’t be! We will walk through every outfit together and have communicated well before your shoot as to the style and mood.  Remember, boudoir is all about the art of the tease.  The more suggestive the shot, the sexier it becomes.  You don’t have to show everything in order to be sexy.

Before your shoot, we will go over the entire session including what I refer to as “The Spice Level.”  What I have found over the years of shooting boudoir is that every woman’s belief of what sexy is, is different.  Some women want to be very conservative and cringe at the thought of showing a bra to the camera, while others are completely open to being fully nude on camera.  We will discuss all of this before your boudoir session so that you get exactly what you want out of your session.  And, it is important to understand this point.  What happens at your shoot, stays at your shoot.  You are free to have fun, be free, and explore without fear of judgment, or fear that your photos will ever leave the room.  You – our client, controls what happens to every photo we take together.  You are always in control.  Our job is to serve you.

Have you heard of the expression, practice makes perfect? This is so true for boudoir photography in every sense.  Find poses that you like, and practice them.  Practice facial expressions in the mirror, and remember the eyes tell the story. Have some fun in the days leading up to your shoot and practice!
